This switch is designed to enhance workgroup performance by ensuring the flexibility of 10/100Mbps connections. Powerful yet easy to use, it allows users to connect a port of any type to a 10Mbps or 100Mbps node to multiply bandwidth, improve response times and handle heavy workloads.
16 10/100Mbps ports
The switch provides 16 ports, all of which support the NWay standard. The ports can negotiate both the connection speed in 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX network environments and the transmission mode in full-duplex or half-duplex.
Flow control
The switch's built-in flow control is available in full-duplex mode and is a tool to prevent data loss during transmission. When connected to a network card that supports this function, the switch sends signals to the computer to warn of buffer overflow during saturation moments. Upon receiving these signals, the computer interrupts transmission until the switch is ready to receive the data again.
