300Mbps Range Extender
The TL-WA850RE is designed to conveniently expand the coverage and enhance the signal strength of an existing wireless network to eliminate “dead spots,” helping users maintain an existing wireless network and greatly improve network coverage. With 802.11n wireless speeds of 300Mbps, it’s ideal for smooth HD video, music streaming, and network gaming.
Easy Installation
The device's miniature wall-mountable design makes installation easy and moving flexible. In addition, the TL-WA850RE's profile function remembers previously paired wireless networks, meaning there's no need to reset the device when switching partner routers.
Plug and Play
Without new wiring, within the range of your existing wireless network, users can easily expand wireless coverage by simply pressing the WPS button on your router and then the Range Extender button on your TL-WA850RE or vice versa. An additional press of the pairing button can quickly establish an encrypted connection with client devices.
Ethernet Bridge
The TL-WA850RE's single Ethernet port allows the Extender to function as a wireless adapter to connect wired devices such as Blu-ray® players, gaming consoles, digital video recorders and Internet-enabled TVs. At the same time, the device can share the wireless network.
Intelligent Signal Indicator Light
Its 5 indicator lights represent the current signal strength that the TL-WA850RE is receiving from your existing router, which can help you find the ideal location to place the range extender so that the TL-WA850RE can achieve the best possible range and network performance.
