What happened to the Dark Moon?
A thick, eerie fog has descended upon the Shadow Valley! The Dark Moon, which once shone high in the sky and kept the spooky villagers in check, has mysteriously shattered.
After witnessing the strange phenomenon, Professor Fesor, a true eminence in ghost research, calls on Luigi to stop the ghosts from turning the valley upside down. Will our cowardly hero be able to summon up his courage, gather the fragments of the Dark Moon and restore order?

To recover the Dark Moon fragments, you will have to explore haunted mansions infested with terrifying ghosts of different sizes, shapes and colors.
Monstrous mansions
These ghosts inhabit five mysterious mansions, each one more strange than the last. Let's see what's hiding behind their creaking doors!
Spectral gadgets and devices
Take on the ghosts with some nifty new gadgets, created by Professor Fesor himself. The highlight of the bunch is the Ghost Sucker 5000! Use the flashlight to stun the specters, then turn on this modified vacuum cleaner to catch one or more ghosts at a time. But don't get carried away, they won't give up that easily!
The Suction 5000 can also be used to roll up carpets, vacuum curtains, move objects and much more! It will be indispensable for solving paranormal puzzles and finding hidden treasures in different corners.
Color your surroundings with the De-Darkener! Equip it on the Eyeswipe 5000 to reveal hidden ghosts, invisible objects, and more with its multi-colored light.
Terror at high altitude
Want to put your ghost-hunting talents to the test? Up to four supernatural enthusiasts can team up, either in local wireless mode or online, to navigate the Tower of Challenges, a haunted building filled with specters and challenges not available in the main adventure. Recruit your friends and ascend the floors of this terrifying tower!
