Description
The DUB-1340 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub connects the latest generation of USB 3.0 devices such as printers, camcorders and USB hard drives to your computer at the fastest speeds. It features its own power supply to power connected USB devices, and is backward compatible with previous USB standards, both USB 2.0 and USB 1.0.
Superspeed USB 3.0
The D-Link DUB-1340 is compliant with the new USB 3.0 standard, offering speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps. That's 10 times the speed of the current USB 2.0 standard. For example, you can transfer a high-definition movie in about 70 seconds, or 100 images in 1 second.
Compatible with all USB standards
The DUB-1340 works with any USB device and is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 2.0 standards. It also supports OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface) and EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller Interface).
Works without power or with the included power supply
This 4-port USB 3.0 hub provides power to USB devices (such as USB hard drives) via the existing power supply. This is not necessary if the devices connected to the hub do not require power from the USB port. Thanks to this feature, the DUB-1340 is truly a portable solution.
Expandable according to needs
The DUB-1340 can be cascaded to provide additional USB 3.0 ports: up to 42 hubs can be connected in a “daisy chain” configuration for a total number of 125 available ports.
Works on any computer
The DUB-1340 works with Windows, Mac or Linux. The computer detects the USB hub and installs the drivers automatically, so there is no need to keep drivers on a CD or memory stick.
