SLOW DOWN FAN MODE
At medium and low loads the cooling fan is completely disabled for virtually silent operation. When the activity level increases, the fan kicks in to ensure that critical component temperatures are kept in check.

It supports Microsoft Modern Standby for extremely fast wake-up times and improved efficiency at low loads.
CERTIFICATIONS
Cybernetics measures efficiency and noise levels across the power supply's entire operating range, using more than 1,450 different load combinations.
The “Gold” efficiency rating is defined as greater than 87% and less than 91% (depending on input voltage).
The “A-” noise level test is measured in these same configurations and is greater than 25 dBA and less than 30 dBA based on the average sound data.
