The Smartwares water leak alarm comes with a battery with a lifespan of 3 years. When the battery is running low, you will hear a short beep, so you know it needs to be replaced.
Simple and intelligent water detector
Save yourself the effort of installing additional access points or home automation devices! All you need to get started is the FGA-18400 WiFi water detector and your smartphone. Simply install the Connected at Home app and connect it to your water detector, so you can leave the house without having to worry about a water leak. You will receive a push notification on your phone, always in time to respond. It is recommended to also place a CO detector and a CO alarm on each floor.
Installation and testing
To test the water alarm, place it in a dish with some water and the alarm should sound. The water alarm can be placed anywhere on the floor, for example in the basement or under the sink. The water alarm is very low, just 2.5 cm. Therefore, the alarm can be placed under the washing machine.
Maintenance
The water alarm does not require any maintenance. You can clean it with a dry cloth, but do not use cleaning products or abrasives at any time.
